Saeed Badghish

 Associate Professor

Profile

Saeed Badghish is an Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University. Saeed worked in industry with global companies while he was holding bachelor’s Degree in marketing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has experience in sales management as he was a section manager in Tamer Group (P&G). Then as a regional sales manager in Pioneer Electronics. Later he back to school for his higher degrees in university postgraduate studies. He had received his MSc Degree in Marketing by 2008 from the University of Newcastle, Australia. Also, he's done his PhD research at the University of Western Sydney in Marketing and International Business. He published some articles on Saudi and Filipino Consumer Complaint Behaviour, Sales Managemnt and other international business areas. His current research interests appearing in sales management, consumer behaviour, complaining and cross-cultural studies. Saeed is a member of a research team who recently received a research grant from Harvard University and Ministry of Labour & Social Development, Saudi Arabia. In addition, Saeed has a worldwide experience in training where he conducted training in Australia and Saudi Arabia. Saeed was the program director of MBA program and chairman of the marketing department at KAU. Now he is the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at FEA. He headed the Scientific Committee of the Fifth and Sixth Scientific Conference for Studies and Research in Economics and Administrative Sciences. He serves as member of the KAU Scientific Council and Deanship of Scientific Research.  Worked as a visiting professor at Dar Al-Hekma University to teach strategic marketing and  international business. He works as a part-time consultant with some local universities and in the advisory board of the MBA program and the Marketing Department of  DAH University

Research Interests

My research interests appearing in consumer behaviour and consumer complaining behaviour. Additionally, I am interesting in  International Business and cross-cultural studies such as  cultural and values impacts and the problems of marketing to emerging markets.
